What is a Processor?
Difference Generation Processor A processor is an integrated electronic circuit that performs the calculations that run a computer. It performs logical, arithmetical, input/output, and other basic instruction that is passed from an operating system.

The 11th Gen Intel® Core ™ processor provides a performance and responsive balance on the low power platform built on our third generation 10nm process technology. This platform combines high-performance CPUs, until single utas performance up to 23% faster, and up to 19% of multi-thread performance faster. With the new Intel® Iris® XE graphics, this platform offers graphics performance 2.95 times faster, plus PCI Express * 4.0 and Thunderbolt ™ 4 / USB4.
The 11th generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 is the lower mid-range processor. It is usually used in the mainstream laptop category, as a cheaper choice than faster chips and pricier i5-1135G7 and i7-1165G7 from the same 11th Gen Intel Core G-series lineup. As the main difference, the Core i3-1115G4 has two core processors, as opposed to four cores in the 11th Gen I5 and i7 counterparts. It’s not a big difference in the daily computing task of routine than the average laptop user. However, if your laptop is often a heavier lifting such as video editing or professional-grade picture editing, i5 and i7 will show off their specifications.
Intel core i5-1135G7 11th generation is a typical 2020 medium laptop processor. With 4 computing cores, i5-1135G7 is stronger than the dual-core i3-1115G4 from the same 11TG Gen Core G-series. The series also includes quad-core i7-1165G7, which is somewhat faster than i5-1135G7.
Intel Core i7-1165G7 is an upscale model in the ranks of the 11th Gen Intel Core G-Series 2020. In addition to quad-core i7-1165G7, the lineup also includes slower but more budget friendly mid-range quad-core range i5-1135G7 which is lower-mid-range dual-core-i3-1115G4.Overall, there is no big difference between this chip when it comes to performance in ordinary daily computing tasks from typical home and office users. But i5-1135G7, and especially i7-1165G7, can provide faster operations in heavier tasks such as media production.
It can be said that i7-1165G7 is for those who want to maximize speed without entering a high-performance laptop processor category. This category is occupied by strong chips such as Intel Core H-Series, which is more expensive, more power-hungry, and runs hotter than the mainstream G-Series series. As for graphic processing, i7-1165G7 and i5-1135G7 provide faster 3D gaming performance, i3-1115G4 them. That’s because they display an Intel Chart of Iris XE instead of the weaker Intel UHD G4 from Core i3. However, this integrated graphics processor is only good for playing games. They lag a lot behind full-blown gaming-class video cards, like those from the Nvidia GeForce GTX or RTX series.
Overall, the three chips can perfectly handle home computing tasks and daily offices, but the i5 and i7 variants provide an extra oomph for heavier tasks such as video editing. Both are also better in terms of 3D game performance. They display Intel Iris Xe graphics, which are faster than the UHD G4 from the Core i3. However, all this graphic processor is in the entry-level category when it comes to the game.
